South West U-19 Cricket Tournament for Prof. Jide Bademosi Cup.
The maiden edition of the South West U-19 Cricket Tournament kicked off today (20-April-2017) with two matches played simultaneously between Oyo and Ogun States while Lagos State took on Osun State in the 40overs game.
First Match
Ogun State won the toss and elected to field first against an experienced and young Oyo State team.
Oyo State went on to post a high total of 203 runs for the loss of 5wkts in 40overs.

A younger brother to Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State, Mr. Teslim Ajimobi, son of ex-governor of the state, Chief Adebayo Alao Akala, Mr. Olamijuwonlo Akala are among the 57 nominees named as caretaker committee chairmen in state.
The list of the 57 nominees, sent to the House of Assembly last week was read at the plenary on Tuesday by its Speaker, Hon. Michael Adeyemo.
