image The family of the late Chief Hope Harriman has expressed condolences over the death of Chief Patrick Onyeobi, Iyase of Asaba, who died on Monday, April 22 at 91.

Onyeobi who served as Secretary to the Bendel State Government and also Head of Service of Bendel State, was a contemporary of the late Chief Hope Harriman at Government College, Ibadan between 1947 and 1952.

image The matriarch of the Akin-Deko Family in Idanre land, Chief Mrs Caroline Ebun Akin-Deko, is dead. She was aged 93. She passed away at her residence in Ibadan during a brief illness.

Mrs Akin-Deko the Yeyeluwa of Idanreland who also was a businesswoman and philanthropist was the wife of the prominent politician and Minister of Agriculture in the old Western State Chief Gabriel Akin-Deko.

Our dear friend, Charles Olabode Akanni Sowunmi, is gone. He was a vibrant soul who served God with all the gifts God had given him. He (Buddy Show) was born on 30th December, 1942. He was twenty-six days older than me. I came to the world on 26th January, 1943.
