Every so often, I am mistaken for Christopher Kolade. I am Kolade Mosuro. Well, we both attended Government College, Ibadan (GCI), but then Christopher was in a bit of a hurry; he got there before I was born. He got in in 1946. The Government College Ibadan Old Boys Association, GCIOBA on Saturday, 21st of October, 2017 honoured one of its members, the Chairman of the Governing Council, Lead City University, Ibadan, Prof. Jide Owoeye, and three other former students of the school for their outstanding contributions to the development of education and humanity.
The Award Ceremony, which was held on the school�s premises in Apata, Ibadan, was part of the school�s 88th Anniversary and 2017 Reunion programme.
