GCI Wins Gold At OASOS Interhouse Sports Competition

image The Boys of Government College Ibadan started the New Year on a golden note in the sporting events, particularly in athletics.

GCI was invited by Oladipupo Alayande School of Science, OASOS, to participate in the Inter-School Athletics Competition during their Annual Interhouse Sports Competition which took place on Wednesday, 24th of January, 2018 at the school's sports ground.

Amosun Samuel (SSS 3D), Adediran Idris (SSS 3B), Badejo Adedeji (SSS 2C), Anjorin Emmanuel (SSS 3A), Aremu Faruq (SSS 2A) and Popoola Muiz (SSS 3A) represented the school in the relay race competition and took the first position.

It would be recalled that this winning team had earlier represented the school in the 2018 Ajumose Inter School Sports Competition, coming home with gold medals.
