GCIOBA-1991B Set Donates N1M to GCI Educational Board

Alumni of the Government College, Ibadan, Oyo State, known as Class-91B Set, have donated N1m to the school for infrastructural upgrade.

The set made the donation during its 20th anniversary, a statement said.

While presenting the cheque to the Chairman, GCI Educational Foundation, Mr. Yomi Jones, the set�s chairman, Alloysius Bazuaye, said the alumni were committed to supporting an infrastructural upgrade of the school.

While delivering the set�s anniversary speech, Bazuaye recounted the vital role the school played in moulding its members through learning and character, noting that nothing was too much to give back to the school to show appreciation.

In response to the gesture, Jones, on behalf of the school, lauded the efforts of the Class-91B Set, urging the alumni not to relent in their efforts in supporting the school.

Meanwhile, the event saw some members of the set being awarded for their �outstanding� contributions to the group�s activities.
