Queens School Ibadan Knocked Out On GCI Home Soil

Government College Ibadan Boys were not smiling and remained helpless as their beloved neighbourhood sister school, Queens School Ibadan were hapless and knocked out on GCI home soil during the Invited Schools’ Relay Race Competition at the 79th Inter House Athletics Sports Competition of Government College Ibadan that took place at the Main Pitch of the College on Wednesday, 21st of March, 2018.
The blue Queens fell behind the girls of Oladipo Alayande School of Science, Oke – Bola, Ibadan (who came first); Baptist Grammar School, Idi – Ishin, Ibadan (who came second); and Wesley College of Science, Ibadan (who came third); in the 4 x 100m Relay race competition to pick the fourth position.
Other invited schools who couldn't make it to the top four were Our Lady of Apostle, Odo - Ona, Odo - Ona Girls Grammar School, and St. Annes girls Grammar School, Molete, Ibadan.
It would be recalled that Queens' School Ibadan won the same race at the 78th Inter House Competition of the School in 2017.
