The attached picture shows the Young Girl, children and grand children of late Otunba Major General Timothy Babatunde Ogundeko during his funeral on Friday, 12th August, 2016 at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Ijebu Imusin, Ogun State.

Late Otunba Major General Timothy Babatunde Ogundeko (Rtd.) OFR, FSS, GSM, NSM, DSM, RM, psc, ICMA (9th May, 1932 - 8th July, 2016) was the former Chairman of the National Merit Awards Committee.

The GCIOBA National President, Biodun Jolaoso and his Young Girl, Emeritus Prof. Oladipo Akinkugbe (1946), Emeritus Prof. Ayo Ogunye (1961), Prof. Layi Ogunkoya, Chairman, GCIOBA Ijebu Branch - Tunwase Oduolowo alongside many other Old Boys, rendered the School Song in honour of the late General and illustrious member of GCIOBA Ijebu Branch.

Olaleye Falore (1962) had this to say about him:
Pa T.B. Ogundeko (1947) will be remembered by many Old Boys for different (great) things he did or said to them when he was alive. I can recollect what he told us, UI Undergraduates in 1972/73 when he was there to deliver a Lecture on "Life in the Army". He, as an Army Colonel, said among other statements, "If you are very proud, don't come and join the Army as a University graduate", That warning was apt for some of us at that time, and I'm eternally grateful to him for it. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
