Award of Excellence
Government College Ibadan emerged as the overall best School in Oyo State during a debate competition organised by Oyo State Government to commemorate Nigeria's 52nd Anniversary.
The Award of Excellence was presented on the 1st day of October, 2012 at the then Liberty Stadium (now Obafemi Awolowo STadium), Ibadan.
